Drinax system sits in the heart of the Trojan reach, nine parsecs from the nearest outpost of the Imperium at Fist (Tobia subsector) but only six from the Aslan forward naval base at Tlaiowaha.

Drinax Jump-6 Hexmap

At the height of its power the Star Kingdom of Drinax held sway over all of the systems of the Drinaxi Main between Khusai (formerly called 'Banks') and Paal, plus the three systems of the Torpol cluster to coreward. Today the only outsystem holding that Drinax can claim is the agricultural colony on Asim that they run to guarantee their food supply.

The former worlds of the Star Kingdom of Drinax:

Khusai – a minor Aslan clan owns extensive plantations worked by human helots. The helot underclass are forbidden from owning anything more advanced than TL5. There is a naval outpost at the highport.

Asim – a garden world with pre-spaceflight tech level. Once ruled by a scientific foundation; it is now a colony of Drinax and the Foundation's adherents have retreated into the outback from where they stage a desultory insurgency.
Pourne – a large population shelters from the corrosive atmosphere of this hell-world in a series of domed habitats. The locals are extremely xenophobic, so trade opportunities are poor.

Hilfer – a poor desert world. They have suffered from the loss of high tech imports following the fall of Drinax. Extensive use of primitive vaporator moisture farms is only slowing down the encroachment of the desert.

Paal – like Asim this is a garden world with pre-spaceflight tech level. The higher population here means that they are farming a larger proportion of their available land and thus they make a good living trading foodstuffs along the Drinaxi main. The aristocracy crave high tech imports.

Torpol – a water world. Tourist resorts on platforms in the shallow equatorial seas provide a rest stop for ships on the Florian trade route as it branches off from the Hierate-Imperium route at Arunisiir (Borderland subsector).

Clarke – rebelled against the Star Kingdom of Drinax a few hundred years ago and the population is still recovering from the punitive strikes. There is a popular mortuary cult and the psychopomps of this religion form the governing class.

Blue – a backwater world. It was a rich mining colony at one point; but the mines are now played out. It's main foreign earnings come from refuelling operations for ships on the Florian trade route, but the locals are insular and have little to do with offworld spacers.

Other significant systems near Drinax include:

Tyokh – a cosmopolitan entrepot for the Hierate-Imperium trade route and a huge industrial nexus that exports high technology goods across the Reach. Control of this system is split between many different Aslan minor clans. There is a large human population in this system.

Tlaiowaha – the forward bastion of the Aslan hierate in this quadrant of the Trojan Reach. The main world is extremely hostile, so the majority of the system's population lives on the orbital habitats that comprise the Tlaiowaha Anchorage. The system also hosts a major Tlaukhu naval base.

Vorito – an imperial client system. This high population, industrial world is operated by GeDeCo, an Imperial megacorp that is active across the Reach. Vorito vied with Tyokh for the highest volume of exported trade goods to nearby systems up until their highport was destroyed in a terrorist attack a few years ago. They will return to being an exporting powerhouse once the highport is rebuilt and they once again have the port facilities that will permit a fleet of LASH megafreighters to be based here.

Oghma - the planet is ruled by a loose oligarchy of warlords who have systematically despoiled the other systems in their cluster with repeated slave raids. The rest of the Trojan Reach is relieved that they only know how to build Jump-1 drives.

Noricum (formerly Sindal) - the old capital of the Sindalian Empire. Death zones still cover a significant area of the planet and many natives are asymptomatic carriers of the plagues which devastated the world a millennium ago.

Ergo - suffering a civil war that has lasted nearly a century, during which time the population has regressed to TL3. The Imperium has placed interdiction platforms in orbit to prevent any offworld interference in local affairs.

Backstage
Not much to add for this one. The details of the various worlds are taken from background notes in 'Pirates Of Drinax' or entries in the Traveller RPG Wiki. I will probably flesh some of these out if they become relevant to the campaign.

The hex graphic is nice isn't it? Another fine feature of the Traveller Map.

Vocabulary
Tlaukhu     =  literally 'the 29'; the ruling council of major clans in the Aslan Hierate.
